This Privacy Policy is for BitPiggy, from Woodchop Software LLC.
We collect the email you sign in with, so we can send one-time codes and reply to you. A device identifier stays on your phone or computer so that device can sign back in. We may log your IP address to limit sign-in codes. Files you add are encrypted on your device before upload, including their names. We cannot read them. Storage keys are opaque ids, not filenames. We store encrypted objects and their sizes to run the inbox and quota. Help notes and screenshots you send go out by email only. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We do not use advertising or analytics. We do not sell your information.
Hetzner hosts the app and file storage. Amazon SES sends mail. Stripe processes desktop Plus/Max payments. Apple and Google process in-app Plus/Max on iPhone and Android. They process data only to run BitPiggy.
We may disclose information if you ask us to, if we believe the law requires it, to protect our rights, or to a buyer if BitPiggy is sold.
Settings → Delete account removes your files and account. If you cannot open the app, email support@bitpiggy.app from the address you signed in with. https://bitpiggy.app/delete
